Who is Black Rock Lighting?

Black Rock Lighting is a local Westminster, Colorado based business that is here to make the world a little brighter for everyone.

My name is Perry Rogers and I am the owner of Black Rock Lighting. I started this business after attending Burning Man in 2022 and seeing the crazy, outrageous, and utterly mind blowing displays of LED lights there. After coming back from the Black Rock Desert, I decided I needed a change in my life. I was working a contract software-admin position at a well known tech company, but I decided I just couldn't sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day for the rest of my life. I didnt see any personal purpose behind all those hours spent for someone else's dream so I decided to pursue my own!

I started Black Rock Lighting in February 2023 with the express purpose of making the world brighter for everyone. I currently live in the suburbs of Denver, in a neighborhood where every house looks almost exactly the same. Even after 50 years of these houses being here, they all still pretty much look the same. This is boring. Its depressing driving down the road where everybody's house looks just like the last. This is where I come in.

I want to brighten up the suburbs and small businesses for all to enjoy. I dont want to live in a bland, colorless world! I want to experience all that life has to offer and look at cool things on a daily basis!
